How long does a property transfer take?
A typical property transfer takes 8 to 12 weeks from signature of the sale agreement, depending on bond approval, rates clearance, and Deeds Office turnaround. We keep you updated at every stage.
Who pays the conveyancing fees?
The buyer is responsible for transfer costs, including conveyancing fees, transfer duty (where applicable), and Deeds Office fees. Properties under R1,100,000 are currently exempt from transfer duty.
